Iranian Nurses' First Council to Be Established

TEHRAN -- According to the Health Ministry's Public Relations report received on Saturday, the first nursing guild council elections will be held with the participation of 2500 nominees in 80 branches.
In the election more than 70,000 nurses will participate to choose 774 representatives in 86 polling stations.
After the election, the "Supreme Nurses Council" will be formed representing 25 nurses throughout the country with the participation of a deputy from the Health Ministry.
The nominees in the above council have the opportunity to register from September 12-18, 2002 to compete in the election.
