TEHRAN (Press TV) -- An Iranian lawmaker has termed the NIE report on Iran's nuclear case as an approval of the U.S. deceit on the country's peaceful program.
Speaking during the pre-agenda speech of the parliament's open session, Hossein Sobhani-Nia said the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate's report on Iran's nuclear program admits that Iran has not deviated from the peaceful path in its nuclear activities.""This admission is very important because a country which created all these problems and took Iran's nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council has admitted its mistake,"" he added.
""With respect to the IAEA Director General, Mohamed ElBaradei's recent report on Iran's nuclear program and the NIE report, it is expected that Iran's dossier be transferred to its right path that is the International Atomic Energy Agency,"" Sobhani-Nia noted.
The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis said that the U.S. strategy to contain Iran's peaceful nuclear activities is to achieve a global consensus and pass consecutive resolutions against the Islamic Republic.
