IRGC Navy chief denounces toxic propaganda and hybrid warfare against Iran

TEHRAN — Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Navy, issued a message on Sunday, asserting that the Iranian nation remains an “impregnable fortress” against the “sedition and conspiracies” of enemies.

Amid celebrations for the Islamic Revolution’s anniversary, Tangsiri warned that adversaries are leveraging “hybrid warfare and toxic propaganda” to dilute public hope and trust.

He emphasized that through “intelligence, faith, and empathy,” Iranians will thwart these designs.

The commander’s address serves as a rebuttal to recent intensified psychological warfare.

On Saturday, Zionist-affiliated social media accounts circulated reports claiming Tangsiri had been assassinated.

The IRGC Public Relations Office debunked the claims as “absolute lies” and a “Mossad-driven psychological operation” intended to incite regional anxiety.

Furthermore, the IRGC Navy said that no drone strikes or damage occurred at its Hormozgan headquarters.

Officials noted that such fabrications are a recurring tactic by the Zionist regime to mask its own strategic failures through digital deception.

The denial followed reports of an explosion in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province.
