TEHRAN Elshan Moradi ranked first in the 12th Iran Chess Championships ended in Sports Complex on Monday.

In the 11-round competitions that 34 chess players had participated, Ehsan Qaem-Maqami finished runner-up and Amir Mallahi stood third, IRNA reported. The third to sixth titles went to Ali Nik-Naddaf, Morteza Mahjoub, and Morteza Darban respectively.
