TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -– Two Iranian TV crewmen who have been held by U.S. forces in Iraq for about 100 days have been transferred to Baghdad, a diplomatic source in Iraq said on Sunday.

The source told the Mehr News Agency that the transfer means that the two reporters of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Channel 2 are no longer under the jurisdiction of British forces.

U.S. troops on July 1 arrested IRIB reporters Soheil Karimi and Saeid Aboutaleb and their interpreter and driver near the town of Diwaniyah, where they were filming a documentary on the lives of Iraqis during the occupation.
