ARTE airs documentary on Persepolis

TEHRAN -- France’s ARTE network broadcast a documentary about Persepolis on April 1, ISNA reported on Wednesday.
Entitled “Persepolis -- View Into a World Realm”, the documentary was directed by Goetz Balonie in a collaborative effort with Iranian producer Fereshteh Taerpur.
The film, which studies the culture and civilization of ancient Iran during the reigns of Cyrus the Great and Darius the Great, was shot in Persepolis and Pasargadae in Fars Province, Susa and Chogha Zanbil in Khuzestan Province, as well as in Bistun near Kermanshah.
ARTE is also currently producing a documentary about the Jiroft ancient site in the southern Iranian province of Kerman.
