TEHRAN (PIN) – Managing director of Karun Oil & Gas Company noted that accidents index of the company reached 0.02 percent during the preceding Iranian calendar year (ended March 20, 2006).

Abdorreza Asadi added that the index stood at 0.08 percent by the end of the year.

He mentioned cultural and corporate efforts made by company staff as the main reason for the achievement and stated that per capita training for company staff has been increased to 17 hours during the said period.

Karun Oil and Gas Company is among the main five subsidiaries of National Iranian South Oil Company which is centered near the provincial capital city of Ahvaz.
