TEHRAN – Iran inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on exports of 200MW electricity to Turkey, said managing director of Iran’s Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Company (TAVANIR) here on Friday.
Massud Hojjat told Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) that Iran has already transited 70MW of power from Turkmenistan to eastern Turkey.
Since the peak hours of electricity consumption in the two countries are different, the project will benefit both sides, he added.
