TEHRAN (FNA) -- Iran's Intelligence Minister Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei dismissed recent threats to his country by the Al-Qaeda terrorist group, stressing that such threats would never materialize.

Al-Qaeda said this week that it is striving to infiltrate its members into Iran to conduct terrorist attacks on sensitive parts of the country. Elsewhere, the official said that his ministry is still working on the case of the country's former nuclear negotiator Hossein Musavian. Also in response to the reporters' question if former Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Hassan Rohani would be summoned to the court in connection with Musavian's case, he said that the court has not announced such a decision yet
