Investment in Iran on the rise

TEHRAN – An Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) official said here on Monday that investment in Iran has grown.

Talking to MNA, the OIETAI Director General Ahmad Jamali added that the situation is proper for foreign investment.
Iran has enforced one of the latest acts on support of foreign investors, he said, adding the main part of the investment in Iran in first three months of the Iranian year (started March 21) is related to petrochemical sector.
He said that $3.3 billion worth of investment was made in the quarter, adding Iran witnessed 80 investment projects valued at $11 billion in 2006
