IMCA to host graphic art exhibit

TEHRAN -- Isfahan Museum of Contemporary Arts (IMCA) is to exhibit Farshid Mesqali’s graphic artworks from October 14.

Posters, children’s book illustrations and photos will be on display during the event, Mesqali told MNA.
Sculptures and artworks made out of papier-mache may also be included.
------Concerts to be held during Rumi week
TEHRAN -- Five music bands will be giving concerts at the Honar Cultural Center during Iran’s Rumi week, from October 26 to November 2.
The lineup includes three Afghan bands, an Iranian band performing the opera “Love’s Physician” and a concert by the great Tajik folk singer Dowlatmand Khalov and his band.
------Julideh Neishaburi dies at 66
TEHRAN -- The poet Hossein Farahbakhshian, who wrote using the pen name Julideh Neishaburi, died on October 11 in Tehran.
His poetry was of a religious nature and included eulogies on the Household of the Prophet, the Islamic revolution and Sacred Defense.
He was buried in Varamin beside his martyred son.
