Iran derived over 3b cu. m. of gas in one month

TEHRAN – The South Pars Gas Complex Company (SPGC) has extracted 3.187 billion cubic meters of gas from Sept. 23 to Oct. 22, an SPGC official announced on Sunday.

Mohammadreza Julaii added, “Of the figure, 2.931 billion cubic meters of gas has been injected into the national grid after undergoing refining process in the refineries of the SP phases 1-5.”
He said that 87,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 11,000 tons of sulfur, and 758,000 cubic meters of gas liquids were also produced in the period.
SPGC was established as a subsidiary of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) on Oct. 19, 1998 to explore and develop multiple phases of South Pars gas field.
The complex has undertaken the responsibility of the operation of the SP phases 1-10 including installations of phases such as offshore production platforms, undersea pipelines, and onshore gas refinery installations
