Apple Tree to stage “Bald Champion” in Sarajevo

TEHRAN -- The Iranian puppetry troupe Apple Tree is planning to perform an Iranian traditional puppet show named “The Bald Champion” (Pahlavan Kachal) at a festival to be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in mid-May.
The troupe led by Fahimeh Mirzahosseini has previously staged the show at international events in Ireland, Belarus, Poland, Turkey, Italy and Serbia.

TEHRAN -- The Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Berlin in collaboration with the German publishing company Haditec has recently issued “Fascinating Women in Islam” (“Faszination Frau im Islam”), a work portraying a realistic image of Muslim women.
The book has been written jointly by Fatima Özoguz and Mihriban Özoguz..
