TEHRAN -- Government Spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said here on Saturday that Iran will carefully study the package proposed by the world powers over its peaceful nuclear activities.

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana on Saturday delivered the offer from the five permanent members of UN Security Council plus Germany to Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki.
“The Islamic Republic’s stance on the package is clear. The precondition of a halt and suspension (of nuclear activities) cannot be brought up by any means,” Elham told reporters.
The package will not be debatable if it includes suspension, he asserted.
The spokesman also said Iran does not have any serious concerns about the impact of UN Security Council sanctions on its domestic companies.
Considering the great opportunities provided for Iranian companies, “there is no serious concern in this case”, and the administration is pursuing its policies on providing facilities for the private sector companies, he explained.
The UN Security Council has imposed three rounds of sanctions on Iran for refusing to suspend its uranium enrichment program. Iran is a signatory to the NPT and has the legitimate right to utilize civilian nuclear energy
