Iran’s judiciary chief says many countries are ‘envious’ of Iran’s progress in the judicial arena, especially its attention to justice.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mahmud Hashemi Shahrudi said certain characteristics of the Islamic Republic’s judicial system make Iran’s judicial policies ‘exemplary’ throughout the world.
Shahrudi cited the ‘innovativeness’ of the Iranian judicial system and the attention paid overall in Iran to the notion of justice itself.
Ayatollah Shahrudi also referred to the establishment of arbitration committees, saying that they constituted one of the most important achievements of Iran’s judiciary.
Addressing a group of judicial officials in Tehran, Ayatollah Shahrudi added that the Islamic Republic’s judicial system is so ‘comprehensive’ that some nations have sought Iran’s assistance in establishing a judicial system of their own along similar lines.
