TEHRAN – The United States’ confrontational course against the Tehran nuclear declaration is doomed to failure, MP Kazem Jalali of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy has stated.

The Tehran nuclear declaration was a great trust building measure, and this move by Iran has been well perceived by the international community, Jalali told the Mehr News Agency on Wednesday.
If a sanctions resolution is issued against the Islamic Republic at the United Nations Security Council, it will not have much of an impact, and therefore the United States will lose in its efforts to undermine the agreement, he added.
Jalali pointed out that Tehran has done its end of the bargain and submitted the nuclear fuel swap letter to the International Atomic Energy Agency, adding it was now the Vienna Group (USA, Russia, France) and the IAEA’s turn to take the preliminary practical steps for the fuel exchange.
“Right now the ball is in their court. They should seize this opportunity and prepare the ground for the fuel swap” the parliamentary committee spokesman stated.
