Tehran - Esteghlal football team wants to start its recruitment drive by signing a contract with Carlos Bonet from Paraguay, according to the team’s general manager.

“We are interested in Paraguay’s 2010 World Cup number 6. He is a good winger who can help Esteghlal in the Iran’s Professional League,” Ali Fatollahzadeh said.
Carlos Bonet, 33, is a right winger who plays for Olimpia in the Paraguayan Primera División.
