Newcastle boss Chris Hughton has ruled out a move for former Magpies goalkeeper Shay Given.

Reports over the weekend linked Newcastle with a move for out-of-favor Manchester City keeper Given after losing No.1 Steve Harper to injury in their 1-0 win at Everton on Saturday.
Newcastle are still waiting to find out the full extent of Harper's injury, but the keeper is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Rumors had suggested Newcastle could move to bring Given back to St James' Park on an emergency loan as cover for Harper, but Hughton has played down the speculation.
