TEHRAN - Esteghlal football team and Shahrdari of Tabriz finished in a tie here at the Azadi Stadium.

Esteghlal was held to a goalless draw by Shahrdari of Tabriz who is third from bottom in the Iran’s Professional League table. The Tehran-based team is second with 34 points, two points behind Zob Ahan of Isfahan.
Esteghlal’s Iman Mobali was sent off in the 39th minute after receiving a second yellow card, and Rasoul Pirzadeh from Shahrdari was forced to leave the pitch three minutes later because of his second yellow card
