- New disease
Scientists have identified a new disease caused by a luminous bug. A new bug, Photorhabdus asymbiotica, has evolved from Photorhabdus luminescens, which leaves the bodies of insects it kills glowing.
The new bug causes pustulent sores on human victims, according to University of Bath researchers.
