TEHRAN – Rapporteur of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has said that the European Parliament’s recent report on Iran lacks legal weight.

“In the view of the Majlis and the Iranian officials, the report drafted by the European Parliament against the Islamic Republic of Iran is invalid and has no legal validity,” Kazem Jalali said on the sidelines of the parliament session on Tuesday.
This report has been prepared by a person who has special connections with the Zionist regime, so it is clear that the report is biased and untrue.
He also advised the Europeans to obtain information about Iran through reliable sources that portray a true image of the country and not base their judgments on the false news released by the opposition’s media outlets and the groups which act against the Islamic Republic.
The European Parliament has listened to the opposition’s voice sufficiently and now it is time to listen to the voice of the Iranian nation and government, he added.
