Iran exports $1.4b nuts, dried fruits

TEHRAN -- With a 25 percent increase, the value of exported nuts and dried fruits reached $1.455 billion in the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20).

IRIB reported that in volume terms nuts and dried fruits exports increased 20 percent and reached 350,000 tons.
Major pistachio exports went to China, Arab countries, Russia and Europe.
Dates were mainly exported to East Europe, Arab states, North Africa and Canada, and the bulk of Raisins exported to European countries
