TEHRAN – The Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in a statement issued on Wednesday insisted that perpetrators of the Srebrenica massacre must be punished.

About 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb forces in Srebrenica on July 11, 1995 in Europe's worst atrocity since World War II. Following are excerpts of the statement:
On July 11, 1995 the world witnessed one of the most horrific crimes against humanity in the late 20th century.
Not only did the Srebrenica genocide reveal the international community’s weakness in solving global and regional crises but also it shed light on the double-standard approach of some self–proclaimed-advocates of human rights toward terrorism.
The Iranian parliament once again condemns the massacre of Bosnian Muslims in July 1995 and seriously calls for the punishment of the perpetrators of the atrocity including Ratko Mladik, the main culprit in the case.
The inaction of European countries in general and the Netherlands in particular, on preventing the crimes against humanity in Srebrenica is also an unforgivable sin
