The U.S. swept Iran in the FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship 2011 on Friday night.

The U.S. came back behind one set down to beat Iran 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-17) in Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanazinho Gymnasium.
“I am very pleased with my team. We adjusted our receiving after the first set and we managed to win using our defensive skills again. Taylor Sander was amazing. Scoring 22 block points against 10 of Iran is outstanding for us. We had three very tough teams ahead of us in this group and now there are only two left”, coach of the U.S. John Hawks said during post match news conference
