TEHRAN – The deputy economy minister for banking affairs has said 80 percent of outstanding bank debts are staying with 500 big time debtors, ISNA reported on Tuesday.

Mohammad Parizi said the ministry has started a program to increase transparency in banks and insurance companies, ISNA reported Tuesday.
Doing so, management and oversight at areas where corruption is likely will be boosted, according to Parizi.
