Putin to travel to Iran

TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour has said Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Iran this year.
Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting on the Caspian Sea legal status in Moscow, Rahimpour said talks are being held between Iran and Russia about the trip but no time has been decided yet, Mehr reported Friday.Commenting on Iran and Russia’s shared views on regional developments, the diplomat said the two countries believe not only Western countries, but some regional states contribute to unrest in the region.
