Iran censures terror attacks in Beirut

TEHRAN – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari on Thursday expressed its strong abhorrence of the terrorist blasts in the Lebanese capital and offered condolences to the Lebanese government and families of the victims.
Ansari expressed hope that the strong determination of the Lebanese people and army and the international community in fight against terrorism would lay the ground for countering the extremist and terrorist groups.On Thursday, a pair of suicide bombings hit Beirut’s southern suburb and left 43 people dead and more than 200 wounded.
According to the NBC news, the Lebanese Red Cross has said that ISIL, also called Daesh, has claimed responsibility for the terrorist acts.
