NOTTINGHAM, England (AFP) -- Giant Croat Ivo Karlovic will face Frenchman Arnaud Clement in the final of the ATP Nottingham Open after a busy day on Friday.

Clement overcame Swede Jonas Bjorkman 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinal after both players had to finish off rain-delayed quarterfinal matches earlier in the day. Karlovic ousted second seed Dimitri Tursunov of Russia 7-5, 6-4 after the latter had also finished off a quarterfinal tie, beating Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. Earlier in the day, Clement beat top seed and twice former winner Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-3. It was the second surprise defeat on grass for the 20-year-old Frenchman in the last two weeks.
