TEHRAN - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that women should pay due attention to their family life.
The Leader made the remarks in Tehran on Saturday during a meeting with hundreds of eulogists held on the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima (SA), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (S), which is both Women’s Day and Mother’s Day in Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Hazrat Fatima (SA) can serve as a role model for all women, advising them to practice her virtues.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the lax observation of the Islamic women’s dress code (hijab) undermines morality in the society.
The Leader also said that women have had active participation in the country’s affairs.
