Iranian violinist Abbas Khosravi dies at 76

TEHRAN – Violin virtuoso Abbas Khosravi who was a former member of Iran’s National Orchestra died in a Tehran hospital on Monday at the age of 76. 

He was hospitalized after a severe lung disease last December. He also suffered a stroke several days after being admitted to the hospital where vain efforts were made to treat him.

He also pursued a teaching career in several educational centers for music.
