TEHRAN – Iranian author Zahra Abdi’s book “Day of Snail” has recently been published in Italian under the title “A Teheran le Lumache Fanno Rumore”.

The book has been published by Francesco Brioschi Editore, a publishing house in Milan.

Anna Vanzan, a Ph.D. in Near Eastern studies from New York University, has translated the book into Italian.

The book narrates the fates of three different women; the mother, sister and fiancée of Khosro, a man who has been missing since the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
