WASHINGTON An American soldier who was part of the peacekeeping force in Kosovo died of a gunshot wound to the head, but there were no indications it was due to hostile fire, the Pentagon said on Thursday. The army is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of specialist Igor Katz of Florida on Wednesday morning in camp Bondsteel within the U.S. peacekeeping sector of Kosovo, said Pentagon Spokesman Rear Admiral Craig Quigley.
