5-year tax exemption for job creating units in rural areas

TEHRAN- Job creating units in the rural areas are to be exempted from paying tax for five years and the time would be extended up to 10 years for those in deprived areas, Abolfazl Razavi, the vice president for rural development and deprived areas, announced.

The official said that the government intends to create 308,000 jobs per annum in rural areas, IRNA reported on Sunday.
As Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, the head of Planning and Budget Organization of Iran, announced in late May, jobs will be created for 1.033 million people in the country by the end of current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2019).
