TEHRAN – Kamal Tabrizi, the Iranian director of acclaimed films such as “A Mother’s Love” and “Leili Is with Me”, has been selected as a member of the jury for the International Amity Short Film Festival in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Turkish actors Yuksel Aksu and Sezin Akbasogullari, Turkish-German director Tevfik Baser and U.S.-based Jordanian writer and actor Najwa Najjar are the other members of the jury.

The festival, which aims to traditionalize the notion of “being a friend to a fellow man; one’s own body; and to everything else, visible or not”, will be held from December 14 to 16.
