Iran’s National Orchestra to perform Azarbaijan music concert in Tehran

TEHRAN – Iran’s National Orchestra is scheduled to present a concert of Azarbaijan music at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on January 16, 2019.

The orchestra will perform under the baton of guest conductor Vahid Alipur, the Rudaki Foundation has announced.

Vocalist Rashid Vatandust will sing a repertoire of Azarbaijan songs, including “Tez Gal”, “Sanda Galmaz”, “Gaitagi” and “Asgarin Nagmasi”, duirng the concert titled “A Night of Azarbaijan Music”.

The National Orchestra put on performance on Thursday at Vahdat Hall in memory of prominent Iranian composer Ali Tajvidi.
