TEHRAN- A double taxation avoidance agreement between Iran and Slovakia will take effect in Slovakia on January 1, 2019, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on its website.

The agreement, which was signed between the two countries on January 19, 2016, will come into force in Iran on the first day of the next Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2019).
