People of Balajadeh village in Kordkouy city, northern Golestan province, take part in the Noruz Khani ritual, on the last Wednesday of the year, March 13. Noruz Khan (Noruz singer) goes from house to house, while singing lines of poetry in praise of spring, the new year and the nature.
