TEHRAN Malian economic services inspector Djibril Kane here on Sunday welcomed the presence of Iranian tradesmen and investors in his country and stressed that they will be provided with their required facilities.
He told IRNA that over 50 Malian tradesmen have visited the Islamic Republic over the past two years to become familiar with the Iranian market.
Visits to Tehran by Malian businessmen is an indication of the importance the Malian government attaches to its ties with Tehran, he added.
The 5th exclusive exhibition of Iran's cooperatives sector is to be set up in the Malian capital of Bamako next month.
Over 99 percent of the goods displayed at the 4th Iranian exclusive exhibition in Bamako last year by 27 cooperative companies, were sold.
Terming Iran's 4th exhibition as being very successful, Kane said that the exhibition paved the way for Malian officials to become familiar with Iranian products.
Voicing his country's readiness to expand trade relations with the Islamic Republic, he regretted that no official trade agreement has been signed by the two sides.
