TEHRAN Member of the Majlis Presiding Board in charge of cultural activities, Jalil Sazegarnejad, submitted on Sunday an invitation from Majlis Speaker Mahdi Karrubi to his Egyptian counterpart to attend an international conference on 'Support for Palestinian Intifada' to be held in Tehran.

The Iranian envoy who is in Cairo to attend the international cultural committees session of ancient Mediterranean civilizations submitted Karrubi's message on the sideline of the conference.

Representatives from Egypt, Greece, Italy and the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the conference which was held on January 23-24.
