Polish Minister Seeks Iran's Investment in Poland
In a meeting with Majlis Speaker Mahdi Karrubi, Bartoszewski said that Poland expects the Iranian Majlis to encourage the government to carry out investment projects in Poland.
The Polish foreign minister recalled the humanitarian aid Iran had extended to Poland's war refugees during 1942-1945 period and said that Iran is with its longstanding civilization and culture is a friendly nation to Poland.
He expressed pleasure with formation of parliamentary friendship groups at the Iranian and Polish parliaments and said that close relations between the two parliaments would lead to closer ties between the two governments and nations.
Bartoszewski said the Iranian and Polish nations have religious sentiments which can be regarded as a common attitude the two nations enjoy.
The foreign minister said that Poland is keen on developing political, economic and parliamentary relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
