DUBAI A court in the Dubai has jailed for life a 31-year-old Iranian for trying to sell hashish for 180,000 dollars, a newspaper reported Monday.

The **** Khaleej Times **** said that in the same case, a 32-year-old Iranian sailor was jailed for 10 years while a ship's captain, aged 41 and also Iranian, received four years in prison for possessing and using drugs.

Three other Iranians were acquitted on drug charges.
