Tehran has become one of the most crowded cities of the world, and this has created serious problems for the residents of this once beautiful city.

There have been suggestions that some ministries should be moved to other cities or to the suburb of the capital. But this has so far received no serious attention, and the Tehran residents are suffering more as the days go by.

Despite such serious problems as overpopulation, heavy traffic, polluted air and low water reservoirs, there are plans to build new buildings on Africa street. This will surely worsen the problems already existing in the city and make life for most of the Tehran residents impossible or at least hard to bear.

The government should explore all possible ways of solving the problems facing the Tehran residents, particularly the elderly suffering from respiratory or cardiac problems, before it is too late.

One of the main reasons for the capital's overpopulation is the migration of people from the provinces, where there are not enough facilities and living standards are lower than average.

Thus, in parallel with finding solutions to problems facing the Tehran residents, the government should also discourage further migrations to the capital by raising the living standards in the provinces and creating more facilities and more jobs in those parts of the country.
