Iran Ceramic Company Announces EPS

TEHRAN According to the extraordinary assembly meeting on 24 January 2001, the capital of Iran Ceramic Company (ICC) increased from Rls.16.8 billion ($2.1 million) to Rls.33.6 billion ($4.2 million).

ICC announced an EPS of Rls.1,583 (20) for the financial year 1379 (ending March 20, 2001).

The company had forecasted on May 6, 2000 and October 23, 2000 an EPS of Rls.2,446 (31) and on February 13, 2001 an EPS of Rls.1,320 (16) and on March 7, 2001 an EPS of Rls.1,453 (18) for the financial year 1379.

ICC reported an increase of 27% in sales, an increase of 24% in production cost and an increase of 20% in profit before taxation for the financial year 1379 compared to the year before.
