TEHRAN A woman cut her husband's ear off after he refused to buy her a new "roupoush," or compulsory body-length Islamic cloak, the daily **** Entekhab ***** reported Monday.

"My wife (Manijeh) cut my ear off with a razor blade during the night when I was asleep just because I did not buy her the cloak she wanted," her husband, only identified as Nasser, was quoted as telling a Tehran court.
