TEHRAN Mr. Rasoul Zargar, deputy minister of energy hosted a dinner in honor of Mr. Asif Saleem, the visiting managing director of NESPAK in HOMA Hotel on July 29, 2001.

The honorable minister lauded the role of NESPAK in the development of water resources, dams engineering and irrigation & drainage sector in Iran. He assured Mr. Asif Saleem that NESPAK would certainly be involved in the forthcoming World Bank/IDB funded projects related to irrigation and watershed management.

The managing director of NESPAK thanked the honorable minister for his hospitality and his keen interest in a leading Pakistan consulting organization.

The dinner was also attended by the managing director, M/S LAR Consulting Engineers, some deputies of the MOE & MOA as well as Mr. Tanwir Qamar, regoinal manager of NESPAK in Iran.

During his visit to Iran from July 27-31, 2001, the managing director of NESPAK also presided over the meeting of ECO-CEC Board of Directors and held meeting with the ECO Secretariat as well as heads of varous leading consulting organizations in Iran to promote business interests of Pakisan and NESPAK.
