AL-KHALIL The Zionist regime has placed Fatah Secretary General Marwan Barghouthi on its hit list, meaning that he could be the target of their next assassination.

On Sunday, the Zionist so-called 'Justice Ministry' issued an arrest warrant against Barghouthi, accusing him of 'involvement in terrorist actions'.

Barghouthi, an elected Palestinian lawmaker, described the Zionist warrant to an arrest warrant by the Nazi government against resistance fighters in Europe during the Nazi reign of terror in Europe'.

"Here we have a terrorist entity, whose head is responsible for the murder of up to 100,000 men, women and children, calling us terrorists ... who are the real terrorists, the ones who are occupying our country, confiscating our land, destroying our homes, uprooting our trees and bulldozing our farms.... or the one who are resisting this rampage of terror and murder?" he asked.

The Israeli Army has been resorting to political assassinations of its opponents in the West Bank and Gaza Strip using ways and means used by classical terrorist and Mafia groups.

Since the outbreak of the Palestinian Intifada nearly a year ago, the Israeli Army has acted as jury, judge and executioner, murdering over 40 Palestinian activists and political leaders.
