It lasted until March 25. 1972 - Japanese soldier Shoichi Yokoi was discovered on Guam, having spent 28 years hiding in the jungle believing World War II was still going on. 2000 - Britain's Emi Group and Time Warner Inc announced a merger to create the world's biggest music group.
