Islamic Countries' Ambassadors Visit Anthropology Encyclopedia and Tehran Traditional Arts Museum
At the gathering, Algerian Ambassador Abdol Qader Hajar spoke about Islamic arts and said, "When I visited this cultural institute, I realized that Iran has a very rich Islamic culture. Since Iran enjoys a great civilization, the ties between Iran and Algeria are both historical and cultural."
He then invited Iranian professors and scientists to take part in the cultural, scientific and literary programs of Algeria and added, "We are in complete agreement with Iran on the issue of terrorism. Islamic countries should make a serious decision about the terrible situation of Palestine."
In addition to the ambassadors of Libya, Algeria, Jordan and Sweden, some prominent Iranian professors also attended the gathering.
Over 20,000 Islamic books dating from the 2nd to 14th centuries A.H. are on display at the Manuscript Arts Museum.
