Akhaemenid Museum Opens in Persepolis
In this museum things such as daggers, stone instruments such as dishes, gold furniture, coins, gold and zinc decorations of the doors and silver coins are displayed.
The most prominent objects of this museum are two plaques called Simin and Zarin which were discovered in 1913 in the Persepolis complex and ever since were kept in Tehran National Museum.
On these plaques a few sentences of Dariush are written in cuneiform, Babylonian and Assyria handwriting.
Both of the plaques were placed in the central hall of Apadana Palace on the commemoration of Estakhr City and the Persepolis building.
Its worth to mention that while the minister of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was visiting the mentioned museum, he also became acquainted with the project of developing the Persepolis
