BEIJING -- Chinese Culture Minister Sun Jiazheng in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to China Fereydoun Verdinejad said he would visit the Islamic Republic soon.

Sun said during his visit that will take place at the invitation of the his Iranian counterpart Ahmad Masjed-Jamei, he would discuss cooperation with Iranian officials in the cultural sector, IRNA reported.

Verdinejad met Sun to submit Masjed-Jamei's invitation.
